Bat & Seaweed Fountain

Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC, contains one of the most magnificent outdoor sculpture collections in the United States. In 1991, the opportunity arose to create pen and ink drawings for publication in the Brookgreen Newsletter. These are copies of the original pencil drawings.

I have always wanted to go to Brookgreen Gardens and now I have another reason to make the trip. You reveal more about it in your drawings than I imagined. Do more for me! Hope to see you in Saluda this summer at Random Arts, or do we have to wait until the Myrtle Beach Quilt show in January 08?

SKH, thanks for the comment on my blog. Unfortunately, my first caterpillar/centipede book is still my ONLY caterpillar/centipede book, but I have the materials to make a second, so it's only a matter of time.

Did you submit a book for BookOpolis (great event, by the way)? The style of the book in your latest post looks familiar.
